Nine Months

Nine Months

My precious little baby,

I have loved you from the start.

You are a tiny miracle

Laying closely to my heart.

Each day I feel your presence,

Each day you quickly grow,

Each day your heart beats softly,

As only I could know.

So, I’ll keep this in a special place

And remember each year through,

Of this special time in my life

In the months I carried you.

Baby Giada

Little Gift

Baby girls are such a gift

Your love for her will be so swift.

With just one glance, she’ll capture you

And you will love her through and through.

All bundled up in blankets pink

She’ll really make you start to think.

That all the happiness on Earth

Belongs to you now, since her birth.

This newborn girl will steal your heart

She truly will, right from the start.

And such a little gift is she

You’ll never want to be set free.

~Andra McCoy

Clint + Jamie

Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction.

~Antoine de Saint-Exupery

How true is that?  This engagement post is special one because it involves my sister.  She fell in love a little over a year ago to an amazing man.  Ask anyone who knows Jamie and they will tell you, she has never looked happier!   Although I haven’t had much time to spend with Clint, the few moments I have, it’s obvious how happy he makes her.  During their photo shoot, you could just see the unconditional love they both have towards one another, as well as their goofy side!  You can’t help but feel all the love that surrounds these two when you are with them.  I am so happy that my sister has finally found her true love.  She deserves every bit of the happiness she exudes.  Thank you Clint, for bringing so much joy to my sisters heart.  I love you both and can not WAIT for you big day!

XoXoXXX!

Are you all following me out there?   If you couldn’t guess by the beautiful quotes then let me tell you, change is a comin!  This past year (and by past year I mean from last August until now) my world has been changing.  It all began when I made an impulsive purchase (no surprise to many of you out there reading this, I’m sure).  I “gave” my husband a camera because he likes to take pictures.  Not just any camera…a REALLY nice one, the kind that doesn’t even come with a flash (I didn’t even know they made cameras without flashes).   Obviously, I had an ulterior motive!  I wanted a camera too!  I felt I needed a creative outlet in my life.  I have been in the dental field for almost 8 years and I’ve loved it!  It’s always provided a stable income, I love the patients, and no two days are the same.  In my mind, I figured I would be in dentistry until the day I retired.  That was of course until one day, my every so talented and extremely hard-working brother-in-law approached me with a proposition.

He owns a company called Click-to-Shop, it is an online retail company that sells everything from outdoor furniture, to home decor, to …wait for it….CHRISTMAS STUFF!  LOTS AND LOTS OF CHRISTMAS STUFF!!!  I’m pretty sure in my about me section I mention my love for Christmas, but in case I didn’t, I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!  So, he approached me after seeing all the photography I had done throughout the year and asked me if I would be interested in doing product photography for him!  I’m going to spare you all the long-winded detail and just let you know, I said YES!!!!  The happiest YES I’ve said since the day my husband asked me to marry him!  Beginning Tuesday, September 4, 2012, I will be considered a full-time photographer!  I could not be more thrilled to be a part of such an amazing company and can not wait to learn new things and watch it grow.  I will always keep one foot in the door of the dental world, because I just can’t leave cold turkey.  I’ve been lucky to have worked with 3 amazing dentist, Dr. Melissa Naidyhorski, Dr. Michael Perpich, and Dr. Jean Merry, all whom have told me they will call me if they ever need help.  I am just so excited and nervous and anxious all at the same time.  This is my dream job I never even imagined existed!  Even my mom, who NEVER shows much emotion sounded more ecstatic than I had ever heard before when I told her about the new opportunity.  She told me and I’ll never ever forget this, that the reason she is so happy for me is because she can see the joy it brings me and her whole life she wished she had the guts to follow her passion.   That meant more to me than anything.  To all who have supported me on this fast moving journey, Thank You.

Here’s a glimpse of my new office!  It’s pretty glamorous!

All Grown Up

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

When I was in 8th grade, I met one of my bestest friends in the whole w-i-d-e WORLD!  Her name is Emily.  That year brought so many blessings to my life.  From 8th grade through graduation, we were inseparable!  It was that year, in 8th grade that I met baby Tyler.  One of the cutest babies ever who was born with a 6-pac! The child was talented from the day he born.  If I remember correctly, he was doing front flips on the trampoline at the age of 2!  Today, he is all grown up and still flipping.  His passions in life are diving and wake-boarding, both of which he is incredible at.  I’m still rubbing my eyes trying to comprehend how grown up he is!  This past month I was able to capture Tyler at his best!  His passion for sports and compassion for people is undeniable.  After I graduated from high school, I didn’t get to see much of Tyler so these past few days spending with him have shown me what an amazing young man he has become.  Chantelle and Derek, you have done an amazing job raising such a sweet boy.  The lucky girl that snatches this one up, will be one of the luckiest in the world.  Best of Luck to you Tyler in your upcoming senior year!  Enjoy it.  It goes by fast.
